The “Klokun Spring” is located in the settlement of Klobuk in Ljubuški, and it is a water source that is the third most powerful in Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of capacity, as it gushes out 5000 liters of water per second.
It is a spring that emerges on the ground’s surface, specifically on the meadow, easily noticeable due to its intensity and the strength of its flow, which occasionally resembles an unstoppable torrent.
Although it flows relatively short, about seventy meters before it joins the Tihaljina-Mlade-Trebižat river, it is a visually impressive natural phenomenon.
Considering its capacity, the Klokun spring is also the most significant tributary of the Trebižat River.
One of the legends says that this spring, Klokun, rejuvenates the Tihaljina River, and downstream from this point, the Tihaljina changes its name to Mlade.
